Bottle, 7.7%. Mild caramelly aroma. Cloudy brown colour. Small tan head. The flavour is slightly vinous, has a little caramel and a faint roasted hint. Tastes like a Dunkelweizen until the alcohol kicks in in the finish.

Bottle, at ZBF 2006. Hazy bronze, thin off white head and gentle condition. Yeasty sweet and earthy roasted notes in the nose, pleasantly insistent but restrained sweet yeast and chocolate in the mouth with some gentle roast barley and a suggestion of coconut. Lingering dry finish tinged with coffee, chocolate and coconut.

chriso (7065) - London, Greater London, ENGLAND - NOV 4, 2007
Bottle, at Zythos, March 2006. To be honest, this didn’t make much of an impression on me. Mid amber colour. The usual spicy, yeasty aroma. Some fruity caramel. Touch of hops. Quite mellow - smoother than the Tripel tasted at the same time. Resudual sweetness in the aftertaste. Decent but unspectacular.

BartC (528) - Lichtaart, BELGIUM - AUG 6, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 9, 2007 Bottle at Hapje Tapje, Leuven 2007. Very similar to the triple except the color. I think they used the same recepy and added caramel for the color. The caramel is the only difference I taste compared to the tripel, but I have to admit that tasting conditions were not so good on a crowded "Old Market".

Jerre (2166) - Waregem, BELGIUM - AUG 2, 2007
UPDATED: AUG 7, 2007 Bottle, 33 cl. (@ home bought by Willems) Very cloudy dark amber color, with large whitehead. Aroma yeasty, caramel, hops. Medium to full body. Tatse = not so different as the tripel, hops, bitterness, good in balance, caramel malts, a bit sweet, little spices, dry finisch. GOOD.
