Yellow, with a reasonable head that laces well. Spicy aroma.Flavour is complex, lots of toffee yet the sweetness is nicely balanced by pleasant bitterness. Dry finish. Soft, not too much carbonation, oily and smooth.

UPDATED: JAN 28, 2006 Bottle Blond, treble body. White, creamy head, which diminishes mostly. Good lace. Yeast and lots of hops in the nose. Lightly bitter initial flavour. Heavily bitter finish. I found this a very nice bitter triple. I would be very enlightened when there would be less of those ’standard’ proef-like brews and more of these ones.

Actually I enjoyed this beer without really thinking of which aromas where in it, if the beer was hazy , cloudy or clear. Probably the beer was purple. I don’t know it, I forgot. Welcome to the pleasant art of losing memories while enjoying your beer, book and music. Special thanks to De Graal, Kees Schuyt & Caspian, who made this possible.

Vintage bottle, expired March 16 2005. Cloudy golden coloured beer with a small white head. Somewhat fruity aroma with a more distinct hopppy taste. quite a nice palate, still quite carbonated. Finish is light bitter-sweet, with hints of fruit and alcohol. It has aged excellently.

It is a soft beer to be triple. It is not bitter. With a blond color without too much dreg.

Bottle, bought @ Bier Tempel, Brussels.
Hazy golden with a lovely, staying, whipped-egg-white head. Lovely lacings. Mild green apple aroma, light grassy hops and sweet, biscuity and chewy malts. Light orange. Highish carbonation, frothy, creamy and very dry mouthfeel. Flavour is sweet at first, some degree of sugar, then turns dry and hoppy with a slight metallic edge, fruity sweetness as well. Lingering dry finish. Better than the sum of its parts.
