Taste is slightly harsh grassy, citrus, citrus peel, old rope, sorrel, cellar, oak. Longlasting mild bitterness, dry mouthfeel. Nice enough.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle. Pours a clear golden body with a foamy white head. The aroma is a strong whiff of baker’s ammonia, then notes of cider, cellar mold, cork, wood, old rope and dust, with hints of lemon acid and hay in the back. Taste is cellar mold, citric peel, hay, wood and hints of bitter herbs. Light body, high carbonation. For being a one-off anniversary geuze, I’d expected better. Not bad, but not very good either.
