Nice malty aroma and dark color. Another example of a good beer, but not spectacular. Smooth, malty flavor with a somewhat bitter finish.

Another typical German pilsner. Slight hoppy aroma and sparkle appearance. Smooth flavor and nice finish. Not the greatest, not the worst. Very good for a hot summer day.

Pours a clear and light amber beer with a white head. The aroma is malt, caramel and fruit. The flavor follows the nose. The palate is sweetness. Overall a beer below average.

Bottle @ Odense Tasting, May 2012. Pours clear golden with a small white head. Bread, paper and dust. Medium to thin body. Short finish.

Clear gold, little carbonation and no lasting head. Fruity, almost melon like aroma. Bitter crisp flavour with a cloying after taste. Actually not bad.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Im Glas steht ein ockerbraunes, dunkelorangenes Bier mit guter, feiner, langlebiger Krone. Der Geruch ist hefig säuerlich, ähnlich einem Zwickl, welches allerdings untergärig gebraut wird. Der Antrunk erfolgt dann eher malzbetont, mit leicht fruchtigen Zitrusnuancen. Der Abgang zeigt sich ebenfalls malzbetont, dezent bitter, lange nachhallend. Wenn die säuerlichen Fruchtnuancen nicht wären, könnte man es glatt als Altbier durchgehen lassen. Die Mitte wird deutlich hopfiger und bitterer, das Fruchtige ebbt sehr stark ab.

Hopfig-süßer, schal wirkender Geruch. Süßlich-getreidiger Antrunk. Mitte steht unter malzigem Einfluß, welcher sich im Abgang noch steigert, vermischt mit unpassend mehligem Touch. Naja.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear amber-golden colour, mid-sized white head. Boiled vegetables in the aroma. Light-bodied, very mild, perhaps even thin. Grainy malt flavours and some very shy bitter hops in the finish, shy fruity character in the very far distance.

Slender swing-top by 17.02.12. Very light nose has dusty malt. Clear brilliant golden body with a soapy white head. Very crisp and (too?) sharp feel, medium body feels fuller with iron-rich water, just really heavy with light metallic acidity. There’s also a bit of grainy filth that lingers. Don’t mean to crush it, but something so delicate should at least be clean and inoffensive.

330 ml flip top bottle from Bottelman in Germany. Golden yellow with small head. If this is a Kolsch it is a bit off. Aroma is sweet grainy malt. Weak flavor bland sweetness with little malt but has some hops in the end. Very watery. Palate is weak and not offensive. Pretty bland.
