This is a German pils, which is watery and not much color, aroma, or taste. Of the pils it is good and worth a try.

Golden colored with medium sized white head. Rich fruity aroma with fine hoppy bitterness. Medium bodied, crispy palate. Flavor is also well known German pils: fruits in nice balance with bitterness, aftertaste turns to lemony with even more bitter note. Slight metal in aftertaste, but still fine example of German pils.

[on tap somewhere in Heidelberg] Caramel and citrusy aroma with plenty of noble hops and strawberry notes. Almost clear dark yellow with nice foam that drops fairly quickly to dot the sides of the glass. Ale-y with nobe hops, sort of like Dead Guy Ale. Caramel malt flavour is apparent, but less than expected from aroma. Loads of noble hops flavour, but not overly bitter. A little bit of walnut in there too. Medium carbonation, light to medium body, clean, not overly crisp.

Kind of thin malty aroma. Flavor comes out much better. This is my second favorite pils after Urquell. Very enjoyable.

Bottle. Creamy malt aroma with hint of hops. Golden yellow color with medium lasting head. Initial hops flavor with lighter creamy malt finish. Nice body. A nice German pilsener.
