Clear mahogany colour with creamy off-white head. Malt, mild metal and mild hops in aroma. Flavour is also quite one-dimensional. Malt, sweet caramel (or sweetener), faint notes of fruity hops and mild metal notes. Totally drinkable but there’s nothing interesting in this xmas brew.

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Copper to amber color. Sweet bready, toasty and nutty aroma. Bready and caramelly taste with some raisins. Tastes a bit papery.

Hazy dark amber coloured. Notes of caramel and fruits in the aroma and in the flavour.

Bottle. Amber color. Bready aroma and flavor with hints of caramel and butter. Hints of apple and metal. Uninspriring.

Malzig-süßer, leicht schokoladiger Geruch. Würzmalziger Antrunk. Mittig moderat malzig, leider hier etwas pappig wirkend. Im Abgang wieder würzig, schokoladig aber letzten Endes nicht durchgreifend genug. Insgesamt eher schwaches Bier.

Bottle by 26.06.12. Nose is lightly grassy with very nice roasted grains while avoiding the straining graininess, with a splash of lemon/juicy malt. Brilliant golden body, just a beautiful color, with consistent streams of carbonation and a sudsy beige head. Fullish body, subdued hops. Sharp taste, again lightly metallic and semi-dirty, but there’s a nice Vienna/Munich malt base here, and this one, despite its flaws, is crisp and semi-refreshing.

Einen leckeren Anblick und malzig-hopfigen Geruch bildet dieses Bier. Die beim Riechen erkannten Aromen kommen auch im Antrunk zur Geltung uns bilden einen gelungenen Start. Im Mittelteil feinherb und weiterhin gelungen hopfig. Auch der Nachgeschmack fällt positiv auf, da die Malzaromen noch einmal richtig gut zur Geltung bekommen. Spitzenbier!
