billtheman (50), milford, Delaware, USA May 31, 2008 Better version of Old Style then regular od Old Style. A mass produced, which is better by far then Budwieser, or for that matter and Anhauser-Bushe beer.
Has a nonoffensive aroma and appearance. Flavor is ok for a mass produce. Pleasent enough on the palate, considering mass production.
I only wish the Good Old US of A would make better mass beers. guyinchicago (516), marengo, Illinois, USA Feb 23, 2008 Updated: Jun 29, 2009a little better than just plain old style but still just a crap american macro force feed how can i make money beer bjl8691 (60), racine, Wisconsin, USA Nov 25, 2007 best thing with the old style name pretty cheap price not a horrible taste i think it only comes is 30 pack cans lovemyipas (420), sw burbs, Illinois, USA Oct 12, 2006 Updated: Feb 14, 2007great cheap beer probably the best cheapy. meadium head that does not last long, does not have to much taste to it pretty much like water definetly a slamming cheap beer with hardly any hang over. konair1 (64), Chicago, Illinois, USA Apr 11, 2006 Updated: May 11, 2006The color is golden. It was a little too bitter. Better than Bud and Miller, but overall an average beer. Capa (952), Yokosuka, Japan Mar 6, 2006 Golden in color with a pillowy head that diminished about half way through. Very light malt aroma with a little sweetness as well. Flavor was generic. Malt and sweet with a little bitterness to round it out. Better than a Miller, but still not all that great. Cheap though... Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA Aug 1, 2004 Light golden color, small white head that faded quickly leaving little behind. The aroma was nothing special with a light malt side some sweetness and just a hint of hops. The flavor came off as being a light malt and some hops with a cereal like quality coming through as well.sort of on the sweet side, but over all nothing special for a brew.it’s worth a try but little more then that. JPDIPSO (4863), Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, USA Jun 3, 2004 Straw color with a initially fluffy white head that dissipates to a small lid and a spattering of lace. Initial rubber nose, that mellows to a lightly malty and grassy aroma. Initial simple sweetness, near corn syrup. Middle has more of a grainy sweetness and a touch of depth and bitterness. Near malt finish, but also seems more watery. A dry chalky bump does some damage right at the end. A decent thickness for style. Still not much.
