Heilemans Old Style Light

Yellow pour with a white head. Flavor of pale malts and corn. Grassy flavor. Easy to drink at the Cubs game.

Tried this awhile back... not good at all. I think I need to try the new krauesened version.

Can poured a clear yellow with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of white bread and a hint of spice. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a watery finish. Flavors of white bread and light straw with a crisp clean watery finish.

Very interesting that a light version would exist. It doesnt even taste much different than the original. Cant beat the price of the 30-pack cube. About as watery as you are going to find, it loses a point because the can doesnt look as good as Old Style Heavy’s does.

Yeah, read any review from Old Style, Bud Light, Miller Lite, etc from me and it is going to be the same. I was at a Cubs game, what else was I supposed to do. It won a gold medal at the Great American Beer fest? Sigh.

Can from Liqour Barn. Poured clear pale color with a large frothy white head that mostly diminished with virtually no lacing. Light grainy aroma. Light body with a watery texture and soft carbonation. Light sweet flavor with a sweet finish of short duration. Worth having once.

Golden sunny looking in color, medium forming head very white. Smell semi sweet something you might mind in most mass produced beers. a little bitter in taste very bland and watery. Nothing to exciting on the palate leaves a grainy feeling in your mouth.

#2000: The can says this is "Pure Genuine"...sweet...pour is clear still golden yellow looking with a tiny white head...smell is sweet and grainy taste is lightly sweet and grainy with a sweet corn aftertaste...finish is sticky and cloying...
