Jun 11, 2007 Very, very good beer. Especially good on hot summer days. Love the taste and smoothness of this true old school beer. Gets an extra boost for being the official beer of the Cubs.

Jun 7, 2007 The only time I would consider drinking this is in ice-cold form at Wrigley on a very hot day, and after killing my taste buds with some ballpark dogs. Pretty disgusting by itself.

May 26, 2007 Shared with my cubs-crazy buddy Spector out of a Cubs decorated glass. Light caramel malt aroma. Golden body with a light head. Medium palate. Normal lager flavors, with yeast, nuts, and some earth. Not bad really for BMC.

May 24, 2007 On tap at Bub’s as Bub’s Golden Light. Lots of carbonation in this pale yellow beer. Foamy white head. Slight skunk nose. Crisp watery flavor with hints of malt.

May 16, 2007 Picked this up at darklord day.It was in a chicago cubs bottle so I couldn’t pass it up.Very light malt was about all I got in the aroma.Pours a fizzy yellow with a medium white head. Slight malt flavor.Thin mouthfeel with a light malt finish.

Apr 26, 2007 Ooh, this must be one of those fake micros I’ve heard so much about. Rapid carbonation with no head and disturbingly consistent up-bubbling. Light gold in colour. I detect grass, some malts, and water. That is all. Not terrible to drink, but kind of pointless.
