Not that bad. Very grainy in its flavor, but fairly smooth and drinkable. Still, it leaves a lot to be desired.

Very pale straw colour. Husky aroma and husky pale malt flavour. Aside from the huskiness, this is a fairly clean example of the style, not showing the higher alcohols or esters of many other pale lagers. Thus, it is not objectionable. Seems like it gets sufficient lagering time and is lower on adjuncts than many of its competitors.

I don’t know what any of these people are talking about. This is one of the best beers I’ve ever had. I’m in the military, so it has been difficult for me to get my hands on this stuff. When I finally did, I let some people in my shop try it. NOT ONE COMPLAINT. This is the greatest blue collar beer out there.

This was yet another brew picked up for a drinking game, and god was it aweful. Piss colored with a white head. Aroma was skunk, rubber, and fart. Tasted like a sweaty sock with some sweetness.

Not bad for Monster Brewery American beer and better than that yellow garbage from the big 3! Drinkable,Cheap and I am nostalgic! Try City Brewery’s LaCrosse Lager for the original recipe, flavor, brewery of the original Old Style taste.... Good Swill and Krausened!!!

On tap. I know this used to be a much better beer, but it is not as bad as most people here rate it. I was surprised by the better than expected taste of this beer, but of course I was expecting the worst beer ever. Served in an chilled mug to cover up the taste, it went down smoothly. There is not much else good to say about this beer. The Cubs might want to look to see if there is a connection between this beer and their losing ways.... it might not be the goat’s fault!

Bad beer, and it is everywhere. The only time I get it is when Im at Wrigley, and I am left with basically no choice. Stupid cubs fans and their crappy beer. You can do better in this category and price range.

i really do like this beer. It’s the best beer you can get for the money. Picked up a 30 pack of the cubs cans last week for 11.99. Can’t beat that.
