Apr 3, 2004 Never really heard of this beer until I was at a crummy bar in Knoxville, Tennesse. Evidently, it is very cheap and they have it on tap instead of Natural Light/Ice. Needless to say, we had it...and it was just about as bad as you could imagine. Yellow colour, metal aroma, bitter flavour with a pungent and uneventful aftertaste. Overall, horrible. BUT, fun to drink when you are on Spring break in the 'south'! I had this on draught at Toddy's in Knoxville, Tennessee.

Apr 2, 2004 One of my roomates bought this so i'd figure i would at least get a rating out of it. This is definitely one of the worse american standards although this is a relative statement; when i drink this i feel like an old man with a huge beer gut wearing a wife beater!!!

Mar 11, 2004 Had this a few nights ago at a college party. It was pretty light and not that great. It was however real cheap, and once owned by pabst so that is at least has something going for it. It is a good get drunk beer- as you can down as many of these as you want while playing beirut- but at the end of the night you are feeling it. Another crap beer but for the money it is ok I guess. Does any of this make sense? Im really drunk.

Feb 27, 2004 White head. Yellow body. Pretty normal beer. Just like Bud Light. Somewhat sweet, malty flavor. Nothing to write home about.

Feb 25, 2004 Ah, Wrigley Field and Old Style-what a combo. Of course OS is just about as bad as any of the macros, but at least its a little more palatable. If only they added a little more malt and hops, it might actually be decent.

Feb 15, 2004 Its unique. The color alone is unique in its slightly darker color. Flavor wise this lets you know that you are drinking beer...Is good for that reason, not watery at all.

Jan 31, 2004 The darkest of the side by side tastings of american standards this evening. Not saying much still a straw color. Light grainy aroma, with just a hint of floral hops. Actually has a touch of malt sweetness, but also has a light bad vanilla extract flavor. I hate to think how many gallons of this (Blatz, and Special Export) I drank 20 years ago.

Jan 23, 2004 save all this stuff for people who go to the cubs games, they seem to enjoy it. it sucks, period.
