thehoff (567), Kalamazoo, Michigan, USA Nov 6, 2003 Looks quite sparkly. Tan body with head already gone. Smells quite nice for a lager, stronger than most. Has a sweet almost nutty smell, sour. Not a horrible taste but not the greatest. Tastes like corn, quite watery. OK for an American Standard. Volgon (2487), Manchester, New Hampshire, USA Oct 6, 2003 GABF 2003: I used this beer as a palate cleanser at the GABF. Corn aroma. I hope I never drink it again. OD40oz (600), Box Elder, South Dakota, USA Sep 3, 2003 Updated: Jan 12, 2005This stuff was awesome. I never had it until i went to Green Bay for a Packers game. The gas stations sold this stuff for an unbelievably low price. Also its made by Pabst, which already makes it great. Perfect for trailer trash like me. FtWorthBrew (105), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Aug 19, 2003 This beer does not exist in Texas. It is just a notch above mass produced swill but if you ever go to Wrigley field its your best choice by far. My wife and I drank our share durring a series between the phillys and the cubs in 2002. And you care about this because... try it when your in the great lakes region so you can pretend to be a local. gerdy555 (163), Ohio, USA Aug 9, 2003 my roomates bought this for a party so i thought what the hell i'll rate it. pours gold with a white head and decent color for and american standard. the head doesn't stay around long. aroma is your tipical swill aroma. flavor is bland very bland it pretty much just tastes like water. what's the point? thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Aug 8, 2003 This brew poured a large hhead of mostly diminishing white mediumly sized bubbles and a carbonated transparent yellow rice beer colored body. It had a very very mild malt aroma and a smooth almost unnoticable malt hop flavor with no bit. This brew would probably be good as a thirst quencher on a hot summers day, but not up to a good beer drinker's standards. Frank (1064), Chicago, Illinois, USA Aug 6, 2003 You can't go wrong with Old Style. Take PBR as your starting point. Add a hint more corn adjuncts. Subtract a bit of artificial carbonation (it says it's naturally carbonated and it tastes like it). There you go. MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA Aug 2, 2003 Clear pale golden-yellow color, has a small foamy white head that doesn't last very long, light grainy and corn aromas. Starts with a light beady and grainy flavors, finishes clean with a mild hop bite, not much of a aftertaste, not bad for what it is.
