(Bottle) Pours a yellow color with small white head. Pretty average tasting pale lager. It does have a little bit more body than the average beer of the style. Having said that, it is still rather bland... but tastes great at a Cubs game.

Shared with my cubs-crazy buddy Spector out of a Cubs decorated glass. Light caramel malt aroma. Golden body with a light head. Medium palate. Normal lager flavors, with yeast, nuts, and some earth. Not bad really for BMC.

clear pale yellow, medium soapy head, pretty nice looking lace. nose of sweet corn syrup, flavor of sweet corn syrup, water mouth feel. drink this one extremely cold. don’t know how i missed rating this clinker until now. if you must drink a macro, this one makes budweiser seem pretty attractive. fully kraesened my @$$. single 24 oz can purchased at the dominick’s in matteson.

For one this is the Cubs beer, a signature for losers for 100 years. It looks, smells, and taste like crap or ivy depend on the time of year.

They don’t call it Old Pyle for nothing. (Or Dog Style, one of the two.) This stuff reminds me of what my dad used to drink when we were kids and we would sneak sips. It’s why I didn’t drink beer until I was 21.

of all the U.S. macros, this is probably one of the better ones. As P-tor says: ’It could be worse.’

Eh, another Pabst product. Not any different from PBR, just in Chicago. Uneventful, but drinkable, so long as it’s cold...

There is a light aroma with some grain and a pour that is a light golden with a fizzy white head. The flavor is light and grainy with a weak aftertaste.
