Probably my least favorite of the throwback old style macro beers i.e. Pabst, Hamm, Blatz, Schiltz ect. And it came in a Chicago Cubbies commemorative bottle. Painful to drink because of that fact alone. Will get you drunk and that is about it.

I had it at the bowling alley for the first time the other night. It was a dollar a bottle and wasn't worth that. Horrible, vile stuff that made Bud Light taste good.

Okay, so this is cheapo-mass produced crap. Tastes like corn, and lots of it. Otherwise thin. It is surely a midwestern beer at its core. :) But at least a corn flavor is not a BAD flavor, just very ordinary. As far as pale american lagers go, you can do a LOT worse.

On tap 7/14 @ Wrigley Field: Pours yellow with a foamy white head. Aroma is grainy and stale. Flavor is corn with a sour sweetness. Thin watery body but much better to me than Bud or Coors. This is my beer of choice @ Wrigley Field and washes the Chicago Style hot dogs down very well. The atmosphere and tradition makes this a very enjoyable and refreshing ! Go Cubs in 2007!

Pale yellow body, and a quickly diminishing head. Very subtle, bready aroma. Flavor is pretty well balanced, but I seem to detect a bit more malt than hop flavor. Quick finish, and hardly an aftertaste. Carbonation isn’t too bad, but I think I’d prefer it to be a little livelier.

I gave this a 1 because its the beer of the cubs. For a Milwaukee macro brew, i guess its better then a few others. Thin corny maltyness, no hops noticeable, great in a 30 case.
