Bottle at blanski house. Corny! Wholesome, sweet. Tacky with peroxide but cleanish. Way better than PBR. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

One of the most popular cheap beers for those who grew up near Chicago. Not the best beer, but there are definitely worse out there. Discovered this stuff when going on a beer run for a co-worker while attending college and working job near Chicago. It’s a light beer, and won’t make you feel bloated unless you drink tons of the stuff

Can't believe I haven't rated this gem. It is golden. Tastes better cold than warm. Better fresh than not fresh. Better at a cubs game (where I am drinking it now) than not at a cubs game. But it sucks.

Clear golden yellow with thin White lacing. Slightly skunky nose. Drink this beer extremely cold.

A Chicago standard -- particularly with Cubs Fans -- old school run-of-the-mill American pre-microbrew-era staple of Midwestern drinkers far and wide. Funny as it may sounds, this was actually slightly better a few years back than it is now that they’ve changed the formula. It’s still pissy and now it’s also basically flavorless. You could use it to extinguish a small house fire, or to drown your sorrows while watching the Cubs suck for another century ;-)

My absolute go-to cheap beer... Much more flavor than Coors or anything AB puts out (Cardinals suck)... Go cubs go! ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

I used to drink this in college, before there was good beer in the US. It was peer pressure, I guess, since they were from Chicago and I was a New Yorker. I felt like I had to drink it, especially on football weekends. I didn’t like it very much and I used any excuse to avoid drinking it.

This is about as bargain basement as beer gets. I tried this for the first time in Chicago. Somehow, the watery blandness of similar pale lagers gives way in this beer to MORE cardboard aroma and stale bread than usual.

Pours out of a twelve fluid ounce can .Pours the consitency of urine. Skunky nose. Tastes like butt. Yuck.
