Can poured a very pale yellow with a quickly dissapating white head. Aromas of straw and corn. Palate was thin and watery. Flavors of water with a hint of white bread.

Can from discount bin. Just thin watery malt and corn soda, higher abv than most light beers.

Pretty much what I expected when the green bottle was handed to me, although it did look good, clear gold with a frothy white head. But the aroma and the flavor (not to mention the flamora) were sweet corn - - no malt or hops. It has a cloying finish, too. Ready up a chaser if you try this one.

Sampled at friend’s party and not much different than the full strength Special Export. Pours a light golden pale blonde brew with a fast dissolving white head that leaves behind a film and white ring. Aroma of light corn grits, citrus hops and a touch of green vegetables. Taste is light bodied, well carbonated with a popcorn malt flavor with a slight bitter character. Finish is crisp clean cut and no aftertaste. A very watered down lager. Remember to serve this at about 35F degrees or colder.

From a 16 oz. can. Poured a medium gold with a little carbonation. Light aroma of pears and carrots. The taste is metallic with strong carrots and celery. There is not much else to comment on with this light beer. IT is not offensive, but needs a little character.

This was actually a very good beer when it was brewed by Heileman’s instead of contract brewed for Pabst by Miller. Enough history. Clear light straw with a medium high off white head. Aroma of dextrose and alcohol(when warmer). Mild flavor of pale malt and corn. Very dry and unassuming finish. Slightly better than most lights but generally just a beer for having people over for a game beer.

On tap at a La Crosse Loggers baseball game. As a light beer, this is better than average, but it is still a relatively bland lager. Some corn notes keeps the palate interested, if only for a moment or two.

Cleaning out my fridge, I found a can in the door behind some pretty old opened wine bottles. This could be three years old or better. Light and watery, very bland, but at least the corn adjunct flavors are mild as well!

Not really all that good, and why did it have to come in talls only?

A decent light. Very clear color with a corn aroma. Women from NW Wisconsin seem to enjoy this brew.
