COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
English: Alecymist is a pale ale. Ingredients are: Maris Otter pale ale malt, pilsener malt and a little cara-malt. We have used typical pilsener hops in this beer to brew an ale thats resembles a pilsener. Alecymist has a little more of "that good taste" that comes from the high fermentation temperatures that ale yeast works at. Alecymist is a tastefull substitute for the traditional pilsner.

Draught at Kobehavnske Oldage, May 2006. Mid gold colour. Light and fruity with a distinctly dry mouthfeel. Light body. Clean and drinkable but, overall, rather insubstantial. Reminds me of some of those UK golden summer beers that don’t really pack enough punch to leave a lasting imoression.

Golden, unclear. Dense lasting white head. Fresh aroma with notes of yeast. Straightforward flavour with pine, green apples and some malty sweetness. Notes of pine too. Some bitterness in the finish. Overall good, very drinkable. In good balance, uncomplex.

Ølfestival Horsens 2006. It’s a golden beer with a moderate head, and the aroma has notes of yeast and fruit. The flavour is very fruity, mostly citrus and pine. The main impression is a refreshing beer. 1617

Sampled after Mikkellers X imp stout which made it abit hard to judge since the malt and hob profile in this one seemed abit weak. I did notice some honey notes in the aroma. Apart from that it was a pretty regular easy to drink pale ale

Unclear mudyy orange with off white head. Flat malty aroma. Pale malts & a light caramel touch - easy sweetness... Very harmless. Body is a bit thin. Taste is overall OK but rather boring!
