Bottle@tasting (1997), 300ml. Head: beige foam. Colour: clear, copper. Aroma: sour, caramel. Taste: sour, bitter. Palate: small bitter finish, watery. Overall: ok.

Bottled @ Olfestival 09 pre-tasting. Same bottle as thewolf, aged for more than 11 years. The aroma has caramel and brown sugar. Clear, amber coloured with a small, off-white lace. The taste is sweet, dusty and caramelly. Medium bodied. Aged quite well this one. The beer is supprisingly good, as I did not really expect anything from a Heineken. So bonus points.

Pours darkish golden, small film off-white head. Aroma of dark, roasted caramel, toffee, some rasins. A touch of ginger. Low carbonation, fine dry mouthfeel. Flavour is quite nice, a touch of chocolate, cellar, caramel, toffee, some graininess. As caesar would put it: "Tastes like a Heineken"

Just a pilsener as i remember. Tastes like Heineken.
