Bottle - Nice Medium Dark color, smooth pour. Not a bad dark Lager overall. Was actually surprised by this one, I would drink it again.

Dec 21, 2008 enough caramel to qualify as near cocoa gives this more character then many other beers of its class. still an improvement on the flagship, more substantial and lightly intreguging and without the trademark oxidation.

Dec 17, 2008 Crushed with Jakebra. Nice. No skunk pee, but possibly some skunk poop. I guess thats the difference in the recipes. Nothing good to comment upon. Thank god for variety 6 packs. One bottle of this shiot is enough.

Nov 29, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear brown, nice tan head. Aroma is malts and a touch of chocolate. Flavor is again malt, cereal, a little sweet. Slight bitterness on the finish.

Nov 15, 2008 Pours a dark cherry wood color with a nice tan head that has good retention. Aroma of molasses. Flavor is roasted malt and is just a bit smokey. There is some caramel, buttered toffee, and just a hint of earthiness that is unexpected in a macro. Feel is thin and flat. This is not a bad beer and is far superior to their pale lager.
