draught in Strasbourg. Cloudy pale yellow, dense, small white head. Fruity-wheaty nose. Light-bodied, fruity start (might be the slice of lemon floating in the glass) - pleasantly wheaty with herbal accents. Refreshing and much nicer than expected.

On tap in a cafe in Chamonix. Yellow coloured wheat beer, quite clean taste, hints of lemon and spices, nice and quenching if nothing overly interesting.

Served with a lemon @ L’royal Opera Brasserie. Lemon & coriander on the nose. Pours clear yellow with a white head that disappears quickly (thank you lemon). Sweet lemon flavor with corander and chamomile, very floral flavor. Not bad but not great.

A wheat beer produced by Heineken in the style of Hoegaarden, with a similar citrous flavour, but also a pleasant note of bananas. Very refreshing to sip on a warm summer evening.

33cl. glass on tap at Vicdessos. It pours a hazy pale yellow liquid with a medium-high white head that lasts somehow throughout the beer and leaves a little lacing. The aroma is fresh, with hints of wheat, citron (orange and a little lemon) and coriander. It smells syrupy though, a little artificial. It tastes likewise, soapy, being rather sweet, a little sour and not bitter. In the mouth it feels mildly carbonated, soda-like, a little thick, with a medium body and a semi-dry sour finish, with a wheaty and citrusy aftertaste. Not a very good witbier in comparison to the usual ones.

Bottle 33cl. A cloudy yellow-orange beer with low head. A nice witbier, quite sweet, malted, not acid, low lemon aroma, very pleasant.

Cloudy yellowy white but not much head, sweet floral aroma, taste like a normal wheat beer but with a hint of vanilla, surprisingly I really like it, when in France, I buy it whenever I come across it in the shops.
