Had this one ages ago.
Hints of malts, sweets and some dark ingredients. Ok, but nothing special.

(Hmmm - quite aged sample again) Very clear foxy beer; cream-coloured 2cm head, dwindling fast. Bit moldy, malt-sweet nose, bit of oxidation/port. The biscuit-port flavour superimposed on what it was: dull-sweet, with a whiff of parsley flavour. Little or no change in mouthfeel: as thinnish as remembered, watery texture. Old age has given it a touch of oiliness. Even ageing isn’t able to save this one - a boring ale from a boring brewery.

I used to drink this ale with my dad. It's been a while ago but I can still remember its taste; we had them in large quantities. :) Perhaps it's not a briliant beer, but it's easy drinkin' stuff. It's sweet and a bit malty, watery too. Moderate bitter palate.
