(bottle) Dark brown colour with a medium foamy tanned head. Sweet nose of molasses with traces of hops in the background. Sweet flavour, medium body and carbonation. Sweet malty taste with a tinge of milk chocolate and caramel and a sweet sticky finish with no bitterness to speak of. A malt beverage with 2.5 % ABV.

Brown color. Light sweet aroma of caramel. Very sweet; easy drinkable, but not interesting.

Way too sweet. This was like drinking a cola. Brown with a quick to go away head, some chocolate in the mouth.

Bottle Tawny body. Lightly brownish, fizzy head, which is mostly diminishing. Chocolate and molasses in the aroma. Moderately sweet, lightly bitter initial flavour. Lightly sweet finish.

Dirty yellow-brown head, gone in secs; beer like dark cola. Liquorice sweets ("zoete drop"), slightly herbal aroma. Quite sweet tablebeer, again sweet liquorice flavour, ever so slightly sour finish (probably the CO²). Very thin texture and light mouthfeel, appropriately boring. Not much else to say. J., Flemish Oud bruin and Dutch Oud bruin have at most a colour in common.

Brown coloured. Sweet, caramelly and malty. Light bodied and rather watery. A boring oud bruin.

Jeppe (2631) - Ølbutikken, DENMARK - MAR 21, 2004
Tall creamy light tan head on a dark body. Somewhat stuffy aroma of brown sugar. Flavor is very sweet and thin and tastes like water mixed with brown sugar. Drinkable but not very beer-like.

Had it in Amsterdam. The only place to have it I suppose, gieven its poor ABV, low hop aroma and non-existent balance.
