As bad as all the reviews suggest. I should have read them first. It does not taste like beer in any way at all. It tastes like chalky mineral water with caramel and sugar added. Even as a non-beer drink it is not nice. Aparenty a traditional product can be realy realy bad.

Sieht aus wie Cola, schmeckt auch so süß. Schmeckt nach Karamell, säuerlich und nach Süßstoff

Tastes like a root beer. Disgustingly sweet. One of the worst beers I've ever had.

---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dit is de moeite van het raten niet waard. Het enige wat ik heb geproefd is suiker. Een soort sterk verdunde hoeststroop.

300ml bottle poured in a chalice. A: Looks like beer. A dark amber to brown color and a medium to big tan bubbled head when poured. Minimal retention. The head completely disappears after some seconds leaving no lacings at all S: Sweet. Roasted malts T: Very sweet. Disgusting, really. Some roasted malts but basically a terrible taste of brown sugar. No hops, no bitterness. By the way, this is not a Flanders Oud Bruin M: Sweet and watery. Very light body and almost zero carbonation. Aftertaste is a disgusting and artificial taste of syrup O: Absolutely terrible. One of the worst (if not THE worst) "beer" I’ve ever had. A complete waste of time and money. My advise: Don’t try it! [ BA Review @ 5/29/2011 ]

0.33L bottle. Pours black with a frothy, tan head that dissipates quickly. Aromas are mild, with hints of molasses, iron, butterscotch and some chocolate. Flavor is very sweet (though not cloying), with lots of sweet malt and not much else. Medium-full body with a creamy mouthfeel and mild carbonation. Overall, this style of beer isn’t my favorite. Really unidimensional in emphasizing malt sweetness. Still, this has a decent enough mouthfeel at least.

roasty, black, brown, minimal head, heavy cloying sweetness, flat, If you try this you may ask yourself, "is this a beer?" This is the kind of products which I bet is another marketing move to appeal to a generation of sugar addicts. Honestly if you close you eyes and think you’re drinking a soda, you can fool yourself.

Typical, albeit industrial and exagerratedly sweetened example of Nederlands oud bruin, not to be confused with the Flemish sour ales also referred to as ’oud bruin’. Simple, thin, caramel and candi sweetness, almost candy-like.
