Papsoe (10459), Frederiksberg, Denmark Mar 22, 2007 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Clear pilsener golden with a white head. Sweetish aroma of malt and corn. Light-bodied with rather sweet malts, lots of carbonation and the usual lack of bitterness. Your typical light beer. 220307 Oakes (6979), Miami Beach, Florida, USA Jul 30, 2008 This scintillating masterwork of brand dilution comes in a can but I’m pretty sure it’s yellow. It smells like swill in a can. If you were ever a teenager, you know that smell needs no professional elaboration. Heinie Light is ethereal in body, grainy in taste and sweet on the tongue. It finishes too quickly to quench my thirst, and without enough alcohol to provide a buzz. If I had tasted this anywhere but on a boat it would have been a catastrophic waste of my time. kp (6200), Woodstock, Georgia, USA Sep 1, 2007 Name: Heineken Light

hopscotch (4588), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Jul 8, 2006 Bottle... Clear, less-than-yellow lager with a small, creamy, white head. The aroma sells the beer out as being lightstruck. Maybe a mild note of honey. Other than the skunkiness and the whiff of honey, both the aroma and flavor are totally nondescript. Tastes like seltzer water. Light-bodied and fizzy with a short, crisp, clean finish. Tastes a lot like Amstel Light... maybe has less actual flavor. BückDich (4559), Boise, Idaho, USA Apr 20, 2006 Pours a pale golden color, light but retentive white head. The nose is classic heineken, full of aromatic adjunct and skunk. The flavor is dry and flat, metallic and thin. No body or aftertaste. I pity the fool who drinks this.
