No head. Some carbonation, which quickly subsides. Color is a completely translucent light gold color. Aroma is fruity initially, then becomes sweet. The not overly malty taste is a watered down lager flavor, with a slightly acidic aftertaste.

Refrigerated 12 oz. green bottle. Aroma is Pilsner malt with a hint of skunk. Taste is light malt and some skunk.

Canned version: This is definitely better than any AAL light lagers, since it has a fuller taste and no corn and rice adjuncts. I like the ABV here because sometimes I donít want a 5% ABV lager.

A semi-watered down version of the regular Heineken lager. A bit more pale, not as shiney in color. Less malts, perhaps a bit less hops, so overall flavor is decreased. Better than the average light beer, but Iíd rather go with a 4-5% pilsner, or lighter wheat beer instead.

Not Acceptable. Stick with Amstel light. Skunk light. Buy only if it's cheap or comes with free stuff. If you want all of the skunk, without most of the calories this is your beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2015 Light flavor with a floral aroma (possibly taste too). Pretty good.

"the age old question...is lite skunk better than regular skunk? both this and regular Heini suck...this one may be a touch more palatable flavorwise but the mf is water."

Heineken Light equals Heineken Light in Alcohol. It doesnít even have that nice Heineken flavor to rectify drinking it.

Bottle at porch nite thanks to Jeff pours a pale yellow with slight white head. Aroma is corn and flavor follows. Regular macro pale lager. Meh. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Poured from a 12 OZ bottle into a pint glass. Aroma- had a distinct skunky smell with a hint of hops, already a major turn-off for me. Appearance- yelowish colored with slight carbonated bubbles with a small white head that did not linger. Taste- Pure skunk mixed with a very watery slight bitterness. terrible bordering on bland. Palate- a medium feel with very little zip and very forgettable Overall- A true disappointment. I have had Heinekenís in several continents and I have been pleased, this light beer variant was god-awful

I was oddly excited to find out Iíve yet to rate this green bottled garbage, call me a masochist. It is indeed pretty much garbage but not completely w/o redeeming qualities. It is golden, perfectly clear and utterly headless. It has a skunky aroma but a pleasant citrus not lingers around the edges, which was somewhat surprising. Once tasted, it is fairly bland but w/o much in the way of off-notes or anything. It is light bodied w/ crisp and very vigorous carbonation, making for a very drinkable beer. Finishes completely clean w/ some lingering sweetness and bitterness. Honesty, this is not as good as the best American beer of the same style but is really not all bad and Iíd probably buy this from time to time if it was the same price as High Life or whatever.
