Best Light Beer EVER !!! The verdict? It’s good. Now, you may not enjoy it if you favor giant hearty big dark beers, but I must say that I prefer my sips on the lighter side (which is why I’ve always been a big Hefeweizen fan). Lighter in color and body than even Amstel Light, the Premium Light has a great flavor, light body, is still very Heineken, and would pair nicely with food. Will I order it and drink it when I’m out? Absolutely.

this beer is utterly amazing. it really just centers me. all is well in life when i enjoy the cool refreshing taste that goes down clear as water. it is at its peek when at about 27 degrees.

UPDATED: DEC 22, 2008 Pours pale clear, like water and Pearl light, with just a tint of yellow. Head is pure white, 2.5 inches and goes to nothing in 5 minutes. Aroma of good, lightly skunky, undrground, earthen malt and hops. Taste is light, brisk, crisp, lightly sweet, and hoopy. Good clean hoppy finish. A damn good light interpretation of the original... something I can,t say for any other regular/light combination I’ve had. But noticeabley weaker and more watery. You know what you could do? Instead of drinking 4 light beers, just drink 2 real ones.

Bottle at Windsor Raceway, smelled like Becks, kind of a citrusy/corny scent. Drank it from the bottle, so I’m unsure of the head/colour, but it was pretty smooth going down, little bit of a grassy taste to it. Not bad, worth trying once.

skunky, golden, sparkling, hazy, minimal head, umami, lightly bitter, salty, light body, thin feel, lively, astringent. I can’t understant such low ratings on this beer. It’s descent when it comes to taste, but it’s skunky aroma is definately what I like about heineken and will give it a 10 on aroma until I can find a beer that has an aroma that smells more like the real thing than this. I’m sure it can be done. Hemp beer maybe. lol

Hawk n’ Dove, the District of Columbia. Two promotional girls in Heineken Light t-shirts tied up were offering this. It’s alright, crisp and all that, but not overpoweringly good. I’d recommend it for a light beer, though it has crazy ass grassy notes to the flavor.
