30 cL bottle. Pours deep orange to brown, clear and golden with a small tan head. Sweet caramel malty aroma, vague breadish and minor alcohol presence. Mild roasted malt flavoured, more pronounced caramel than in the aroma. Subdued and gentle bitterness into a nice malty and lingering finish.

An amber beer with a little head. It has a slightly sour aroma. The flavor is soft of a good malt blend and slightly prickling- I cannot taste the wheat which it should be brewed on. A very good beer - I definatly want to try this again.

(Bottle 30 cl) Deep amber colour with a fine, dense and creamy head. Full-bodied and (a bit to) sweet with caramel and roasted malt. But hasn’t really got very distinct wheaty notes. 171001

Bottled. Deep reddish amber colour with mediumsized beige head. Aroma is quite sweet malts along with some slight hoppyness. Flavour is also strong on the malts with hops just mainly balancing it up. Some mild caramelly and papery notes also as it warms up.

The Supermarket tasting, Bodegraven! Clear amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is softish and dry with fine carbonation. Dull caramel malt. Touch of dried fruits. Little spice. Dry finish. Typical macro dullness.

Bottle. Weak aroma, brown sugar. Very dark brown colour. Big, stable, light brown head. Very sweet flavour, a lot of brown sugar here. Thick, syrupy mouthfeel. There is a hint of alcohol flavour, but it would need a lot more to balance the sugar.
