Industrial example of Dutch Dunkelbock, launched every year in october like the tradition prescribes. Beige, delicate, sticky head, deep copper red colour; caramelly aroma, wheat, banana, plums. Velvety soft palate, somewhat sugary but at first subtle sweetness, sourihs hint, chocolate touch; sweet and somewhat cloying finish.

Bottle (Old Notes-Label says Tarwebok)-Pours a dark brown with a nice beige head. Aroma of sweetness, malt, caramel, and fruits. Taste of the same with some banana and clove coming thru as well. This medium bodied brew is not bad.

It’s not very good, but thanks to the wheat it’s at least drinkable. That’s something.

sredniej jakosci piwo z mnostwem karmelowej slodyczy troche wanilli i nawet piana spora. Kolo brazowy ale niezbyt gesty, przepuszcza swiatlo i to mocno. Finisz niestety krotki, brak owocowosci i troche wytrawnosci dla kontrastu bo nieco zbyt karmelowe mi sie wydawalo.

Vielen Dank an Kölschtrinker! Test vom 6.2.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,9,11,8,12,8 - 9,20

Bottled: unk look is standard with some initial foam over an Amber beer, etched surface. Nose Carries, cherry and toasted brown sugar along with some decent Bock malts. Taste is vanilla, sweet, wheat and fruity. A little thin bodied with hi carb. Drinkable. Serving type: bottle 06-23-2012

30cl bottle @ home. Clear, reddish-brown color, beige head. Aroma caramel, sweet fruits like dates, bit wine-ish, coffee and cola notes. Taste heavy cloying sweetness, lightly bitter, lightly sour notes. Full body, sticky texture, lively carbon, medium lasting sweet bitterish finish. Not very exciting and a way too sweet for me, but drinkable.

Bottle. Clear orange pour. nice off white head. Aroma is fruity, lots of caramel notes, none of the traditional roastiness. Taste is sweet, really caramel forward, pear, malty, long lingering very sweet finish bleh. Palate is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Aroma is okay, taste kind of ruins this one.
