Pale straw colour, little to no head, rather dull nose and although it tastes similar to the real thing this beer has a distinct pear note to it that kind of stands out. Its not as good as the real thing BeerChaser0078 (323), Melbourne, Australia

Actually it’s not all that bad (the one brewed in Holland, not brewed under license), if not particularly exciting. Grainy, malty aroma with a hint of grassy, herbal hops. Flavour has some mild sweetness but is otherwise the same. Inoffensive and very easy to drink but that’s about it. Drank it very cold, paired with bread and cheese. Pale yellow color, with a quickly evanescent head. Smells really good, with herbal, vegetable notes. Mild to moderate bitterness, with a hoppy, short-lived aftertaste. Very easy to drink. Doesn’t require much attention. PWheatley (20), , Quebec, Canada
| 1.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 7/20 | Nov 18, 2009 33cl bottle. The aroma was bland, nothing stood out for me. The appearance was pale golden, with a thin head that quickly disappeared. No lacing and very meek taste. To add insult to injury it was way over priced. Why buy it you ask, well, a meal is a poor thing with out a beer…even a bad beer. bobman006 (42), New Jersey, USA

Taste is grainy with straw and cardboard. Slightly metallic. Watery. Bland and boring. brenn79 (162), Idaho, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Nov 14, 2009 12 oz. can- Pours pale golden with a weak head, and little lacing. The aroma is almost nonexistent, but I was expecting a skunky aroma so it gets a better score because I did not have to smell skunk, probably because of the aluminum can. The falvor has a mellow European flavor to it, not bad but please explain to me why this is one of the best selling beers in the world? I just did a search for the top 10 best selling beers in the world and I was disgusted but not suprised by what I read, all of them were watered down mass produced crap. I at least thought Guinness would be on the list, but no. Izio (40), Germany
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 11, 2009 Clean yellow color, medium head and carbonation. Aroma: hoppy, malt, some skunk. Flavor: slighty acid, bread, metallic. Normal not really remanent bitterness. Body is ok (maybe in the limit of being watery) Standart mass production pilsen. Drinkable if really cold. 330 ml bottel, supermarkt in Utrecht, in bars, etc...
