One of my faves and with all the recent Australian Open promotion here in Melbourne it was hard to find a place without the brew. I like it and always will I suppose. Its fresh, clean and tastes of Europe. No tartness here.

Had this right after Beck's and realized this is the inferior of the two.Aroma and flavor were seriously skunked, skunked and skunked.Body was thin and this lacked anything really special.

Ah, the poster child of the skunky green bottle brew. Funny how you order something in a bar that they don't have, the always say "But we have Heineken." Like that's a good thing? Skunky, watery and metalic tasting. I still have one every once in a while, even though I know better.

Slightly fruity with hops. Golden, sparkling hue. Bitter taste with a hint of smoke. Dry palate.

bottled: not good in the US anyway. and most markets promote it as an import just to raise the price. adjunct city, corn. and alway skunky. never had this on tap. going to holland this summer maybe ill try it.

Nasty commercial beer. Smells bad, tastes bad and it's not particularily cheap.

Light colored lager with a head that dies quickly. Weak and watery with a bit of a kick in the finish.

Rare to find one that isn't skunked. Might be drinkable if they'd put the damn thing in a dark bottle. It's a malty beer when you try to taste through the skunk. Some metallic things happening in there that are rather unpleasant as well.

skaughty (652) - Marietta, Georgia, USA - FEB 4, 2004
UPDATED: APR 21, 2004 Why do people bring me this for parties? Time to stop the BYOB policy!Metallic and Thin. Bad bite and high skunk factor = NOT good.

Not as full-flavoured as I oncce remembered, but it's invigorating taste will delight the cold-filtered-loving set. Spanner.
