UPDATED: NOV 5, 2006 re-rate!!!! I used to like this beer but after having it so many times the negative aspects took over any positve aspects the beer ever had. A skunky aroma is so pronounced that it carries through on the taste. I drink it out of a bottle because something that yellow should be found in a toiliet.

A very overated beer, but it is usually available everywhere so it has bailed me out of bad beer situations here and there. But the pale yellow beer with little to no foam, smelling weak and of grains and and hops. Tasted alright, but a bit watered down, a very mild flavored beer. But for the most part it is available when your choices are Bud and Coors.

An average lager. Very bitter finish. Drinkable.

I tasted this beer at a party. Nothing kills a group buzz like a guy scribbling in a notebook. Rely on my score and the descriptions provided by other Ratebeerians.

Gives you no advantage compared to Becks or Warsteiner. Too bitter to be a session beer and too mild to fully enjoy. Let Beck’s stock your green bottle section in the fridge.

Was expecting something considerably "skunkier" than what this was. Better than mass-produced light beers. Tastes different out of the can as opposed to the bottle. Better from the bottle in fact.

Pale straw yellow. Decent head with plenty carbonation. Slightly sweet aroma. Bitter in a bad way--chalky and metallic. I don’t know why anyone would forsake a crisp American lager for it’s soapy European cousin at twice the price.
