Iíll often choose this when Iím looking for a different, more refreshing beer. Domestic lagers can get boring. Better on tap as every so often with the bottles you get one that has gone kind of off.

Too fizzy but good taste. Not too watery. Good balance of hops. Had some in Amsterdam and was definitely better there.

I donít know why this sells. For the price I paid, Iíd expect something with a decent flavoring.

Not worth the price, but cost aside this isnít really that bad a beer (though itís not that great either). Iíve heard itís much better at the brewery.

lousy excuse for a lager. itís supposed to compare with bud, and in that sense itís successful. enough said.

A fruity beer-shame itís rotten fruit. Another mass produced, chemical-full lager. Dutch beer at its usual-poor.

This beer only has a foothold in the American market because it was the first to begin importing after prohibition. The Dutch can make much better beers than this. skunky aroma and flavor, no body. To quote Frank Booth, íHEINEKEN? FUCK THAT SHIT! PABST BLUE RIBBON!í

Really quite terrible. Pours hardly any head, no taste and is almost always skunked.

Nowhere near as bad as what has been suggested by other reviews on this page. Itís refreshing, and with a bit of a kick that makes for a good drink at any time. Not a classic by any means, but not bad at all.

Awful.... terrible lager... no taste, all fizz.. I know Iím a fussy lager drinker, but Heineken is just plain nasty.
