2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
This brew poured a medium head of fine to large sized mostly diminishing white bubbles and a carbonated straw yellow colored body. It has a mild malt hop aroma, a fizzy mouthfeel and a mild malt hop flavor. The best thing about this brew was the facte that we had gotten a first class upgrade on on plane trip and was able to drink several of these for free!

Ok, I tried one and was underwhelmed. Citrus aroma and flavor are the beers most prominent features, not to mention its advertising campaign.

Skunky taste that lingered forever. I found it way to carbonated for my liking.

You know, there’s just something cool about having a green bottle of Heineken in your hand. While that "cool" is obviously the result of clever branding, this beer actually is a touch better than average when it comes to substance. Very light yellow in colour, the pour is about as headless as an enemy of Louis XVI during the French Revolution. An abundance of confectionery sugar fills the nose, rounded out by traces of skunk, cellophane and honey. The instant the liquid hits the lips, there’s a spine-tingling, thirst-quenching liveliness that follows through to the finish, with good balance and savoury effects such as white rice and cereal. A dependable guzzler, Heineken’s a pretty good beer to order at a bar or restaurant, but its lofty price tag isn’t worth the green if you’re taking it behind closed doors.

I could choose heineken over a lot of other beers. I really like the name "Heineken", it just sounds kinda cool. Otherwise, i think it's sort of average and not as great as some people say it is.

In all fairness, a decent continental lager. Similar to St. Pauli's Girl except not as good. Now the drawbacks - Heineken has a terrible head, is overcarbonated and is generally unattractive in appearance. It's horribly overpriced and overhyped as well. If you have money to burn on a mass-manufactured beer, buy Guinness. It's truly good instead of just decent.

Undiscernible bottling date; however, who cares? Pale golden color. Not much to recommend. I have had samples with an intense, cloying saccharine-like sweetness. However this one was just bloody awful with a hint of cooked vegetable off-flavors. Geesh.

Tried the big Heine in the can. Pale golden color. Very light bodied with a clean palate. Refreshing but fairly dry and boring.

Much better out of the tap than from the bottle, and not even worth trying out of the can. For some reason, tastes much better in Europe than in the US. Very good simple flavor, nothing offensive about it at all, just goes down smoothly with a nice flavoring of barley and hops.
