I usually do not drink lagers, but this one has a nice dry bite to it. I enjoyed this lager.

My opinion on Heineken varies based on what mood I am in and how it is being served. Heineken in a can is aweful. Warm Heineken will make you never taste it again. On the other hand a cold Heineken out of the tap is excellent. I like the appearance in a glass and hate the green bottle. A lot of uncertainty with me on this beer, more than any other.

A great beer yet definetly a desired taste I can see why some would like it. ’Skunky’ This is the beer that started me to inquire a taste for different beers.

The aftertaste stops me from drinking too many.

Aroma relatively light combination of hops and sweet malt--but nothing remarkable...Appearance fairly standard pale-gold--head light but acceptable. Flavor reveals both decent hop bitterness and some underlying malt, which shows up in the body more than, say, Beck’s. Finish is pretty much a a continuation of the main body--no hidden mysteries here...This is perfectly OK stuff--but falls about in the middle of the field of macro-import lagers...

Is there any other beer that tastes so average yet costs so much?

when I was young I thought this was a great beer(any beer we could get our hands on being under age). But now after drinking a couple of Heineken the distinct after taste stops me from drinking more.

What’s the big deal??? Reminds me of road kill on the transcanada highway. (OK a little to harsh on the beer perhaps but really what is the big deal)
