Not a good beer. Only drinkable if served really cold. Poor aroma and plain watery taste.

My kind of beer, bitter. Very well balanced. A bier to be tasted every day.

I really can’t say anything bad about this beer. Been drinking it forever (since the start of my drinking days), and I never get tired of it. Been going a while without buying it, as I prefer the microbrews instead, but given a choice between Heiny or Bud, I am trained to not even think about it. Heiny or Corona, I’ll still probably pick the Heiny every time unless I am vacationing on a tropical island or in Mexico, and even then I’ll pick Heiny at least 3 out of 4 times. Basically a smooth lager. On the sweet end, sort of like a mix between lager and pilsner. A little skunky but not too bad, I prefer to drink it super-cold then it’s hardly noticable. Pours a pale yellow-golden color. Medium-light carbonation, but not too much head.

Can. Clear golden, white head. Some floral notes in aroma. Dry grainyness too. Similar taste, but with some metallic vibes.

Dry crisp toasted hop taste, slightly bitter but not over powering. Sweet "corny" taste and subtle barley. Very well rounded beer seemingly ’flat and to the point’ there is a distinct difference from Heineken brewed in Holland than Australia.

UPDATED: APR 6, 2015 From 12oz bottle, poured into tulip glass, leftover bottle from BJCP study group
Aroma: Spicy saaz hops, slight corny-sweetness
Appearance: pale yellow, crystal clear, nice big white head with low retention
Taste: light sweet, light bitter
Palate: light body, creamy texture, average carbonation, bitter finish
Overall: Not a bad beer. I’m a fan of Saaz, so I thought I recognized the aroma right away. Not a lot of hops, but the spicy saaz is a nice touch. A tad corny and sweet taste, which I’m not a fan of. Had this numerous times over the last twenty years, but not in the last 5-6 years. Years ago, the spicy hop and bitterness wasn’t something I enjoyed, now I actually like the subtle hop profile. I just wish it didn’t have that corn/cream ale taste.

Draught pint at Empire at Singapore Land Tower on 19/03/15. Pale straw yellow in colour, clear and with a medium level of carbonation. Aroma of malt and grain. Smooth and medium body. Sweet and light bitterness. Nice cold refreshing lager - perfect to deal with the tropical climate in Singapore.
