2.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Poured a yellow-gold color with a thin head and lacing. Aroma was the highlight with a malt sniff and a slight fruitiness present. Taste was typical of a pale lager - malts followed by grains followed by a slightly off hop finish. It tasted slightly like PBR. Palate was decent for the category. Overall, it came in as expected. Probably will not revisit after my sixer is gone, since I can get PBR for less plus - both price and carbon footprint-wise.

Malt mixed with green apple in aroma. Some malt and hops in taste. Pale colour. Watery body. Foam quickly dissapears. Nothing special.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Poured from a can into a pilsner glass. Amazing clarity. Truly, it’s like yellow glass. The aroma is good, definite noble hop character, no fruitiness, no dms. Taste is pleasant, clean, a sweet maltiness with a hint of caramel character. Fullness on the palate that fades quickly, pleasant dryness. Very good beer.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Pours golden, moderate lacy head. Aroma is bready, boring. Flavor thin, a bit malty. Mouthfeel is crisp. Overall boring but not unpleasant.

2.2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
The aroma is malty and it has slightly sweet malt flavor. Hop bitterness has notes of flower and is suitable for the beer. Not much of good, but certainly not bad. It is an all-round lager on par with the other giants like Carlsberg, Kronenbourg, Budweiser, etc.

Bottle at a wedding in Berbertown Castle. No surprises with this. Looks and tastes just how you would expect. An average bland lager.

I have tried to like this, but it’s just too sweet and uninteresting. Tasts like the over-proof beer Fax10. Never tried it on tap...I don’t really get

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20

0.33 l bottle. Aroma: Slightly bitter, light grassy. Appearence: Golden beer, small, white, short-lived head. Taste: Light bitter, no other taste. Palate: thin, very watery. Overall: very good marketing division, no good brewery division.

I suppose I must have drunk this beer about a thousand times over the years. It is a standard eurolager. I tried it the other day on draught at a bar at La Cote Saint Andre at the Berlioz Festival. It is quite poor stuff. Very thin and slightly metallic tasting. Sweet malts (hints of corn?) and very bland hops. Very boring, but not bad when served cold on a hot day.
