teebradford (45), Senatobia, Mississippi, USA Dec 11, 2005 OK, I know what everybody is thinking: Why the high rating? Let me just say that the bottle version of this beer DOES NOT DOES NOT DOES NOT do this beer justice!!! I’ve had it in the bottle countless times, and never bothered writing a review. It’s got to be the green bottles. Although they’re pretty to look at, they skunk the beer because they allow sunlight in. Also, venders display it incorrectly. It cannot sit out in the isles where light can creep in. I finally had it on tap at Fox & Hound in Southaven, MS. Wonderful. Delicious. Tasty. Who would have thought? It’s a lager, so most of you know what to expect from the aroma (Sweet but balanced), head (Decent for a golden beer), color (Duh) and taste (Very fresh and yummy). Do yourself a favor and try this on TAP the next chance you get! And this is coming from a beer snob!
bsm80 (100), Massapequa, New York, USA Sep 6, 2008 Very distinct, skunky to barnyard smell, goes down quite smooth, disgraceful to call this an import and pay the price though. Used to like it more in college, you know it was the cool thing. Botnik (26), Carrollton, Texas, USA Sep 3, 2008 I didn’t expect much, so I was a bit surprised at the hops. No skunk taste. Nothing exciting , but nothing bad either. JuStuka (143), , Mexico Sep 1, 2008 Well nothing special in this beer, is not bad but is not good, lets say it’s drinkable. PhatB420 (53), Pittsfield, Massachusetts, USA Aug 31, 2008 Wow, this is imported, from where a sewer?? I do like this better than Stella, but just the same, what does this have to offer that makes it so special???? Hardly a fruitful taste to grab on to, or anything. Maybe it will taste better in a keg can?? hahahah BlackAndTan (2), Glen Carbon, Illinois, USA does not count Aug 30, 2008 I must say, this beer tastes like beer out of tinfoil bowl and for the price, fahhhgettahhboutttittt.
