COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Heiner Brau Kolsch is a light, crisp, clean and fresh golden German beer brewed in the finest traditions of German Brewmasters. Our Kolsch is partially filtered with natural brewers yeast (vitamin B) which makes this beer very tasty and refreshing.

Heiner Brau Kolsch has a thick, slightly off-white head and a hazy yellow-golden appearance, with some bubbles streaming up. The aroma is mild, with yeast, bread, and a slight fruit aspect. Taste is likewise on the mild side, and has an overriding maltiness, yet with enough hop presence to keep it from being dull. Mouthfeel is light to medium, and the finish is crisp and semi-dry. Drinkability is quite high with this one. I really enjoyed it. RJT

Bottle at Cochon, New Orleans. Easy drinking pale yellow brew. Clean & pretty crisp taste. Light aroma, as most seem to have. Light floralness. Nice sessionable beer

Pours out a VERY pale yellow with a light white head that goes away quickly. The aroma is the best and most striking part of this beer, a faint hint of fruity apples and cherries mixed with hay and yeast. Taste is light but malty, light hops finish slightly grassy. A good take on this style and a beer I would drink again gladly if given the chance.

Thanks to Exiled for sharing this bottle. The beer pours a very clear light yellow with a white head. The aroma is grapes, corn and biscuits. The flavor is corn, wheat and florally hops. I also get some steamed vegetables in the flavor. Thin mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Appearance and smell - golden color with a very light white head, poured out of a bottle. Mouthfeel and Taste - you can tell this is a German style beer, and reminds me of drinking some Stiegl in Austria. This has a full mouthfeel and not for most people but this is what Eastern European beer taste like, so enjoy it. Drinkability - Good stuff.

I haven’t really developed a taste yet for this particular style, but I believe its brewed in the traditional way. It’s a little light for my tastes and seems to be very inconsistent in quality and taste, whether it be in a can, bottle, or keg.

Taste is of a dirty potato. Smells sweet. Pours a golden yellow with a nice white head.
