Draught. Dark brown body with a red glow. Minimal head. Aroma has sweet caramel and some iron (common in anything made by Viru). Taste has sweet dark malts with low roast and medium bitterness. Finish is sweetish and once again something ferric emerges to kill the party. Not very special. It’s probably just dark Puls?

Backlog rate, at Hell Hunt bar in Tallinn. A nice dark lager with a noticeable heather-honey malty sweetness. Not much else going on though.

33cl from tap at Hell Hunt. Clear dark brown with a reddish hue and an off-white head. Malty aroma with caramel, dark fruits and some roasty notes. Quite sweet and malty with some bitterness in the finish. Ok dunkel, but a bit to sweet for my taste. (2012-11-17)

17-oz on tap. Enjoyable, if uncomplex, dark--decent carbonation and lively mouthfeel, good balance with caramel sweetness, etc. One hopes for more, though...

0,5l mug from tap. Brown-reddish color. No head, flat. Sweet malts, caramel in aroma. Body is pretty much the same. Very smooth to drink.

Draught, 0.5l. Dark amber brown color with minimal head and flat carbonation. Caramel malt aroma with fruity notes. Sweet and refreshing malty taste with hints of dried fruits. Medium body, thin texture and soft carbonation in palate. Good and drinkable...

På fat på Hell Hunt, Tallinn. Mörk dryck med snabbt försvinnande skum. Doftar inte mycket, svagt av frukt och ljus sirap. Smakar sött, körsbär och vanilj. Till en början riktigt, riktigt god, men i längden alldeles för söt. I slutet var det till och med svårt att få ner de sista dropparna. 33 cl hade varit att föredra framför 50 cl.

Nice reddish brown dark brew. White tiny head. Malty sweet nose, some dark fruits. Sweet malty flavour, rather thin body. Some dried raisins, some cherry. Only slight bitterness. Never exceeds average. (draught @ HH, Tallinn)

Draught at Hell Hunt. Mahogany with orange highlights and a billow of diminishing off-white foam. Jam on metal, rust, blackcurrant, hint of liquorice aroma. Sweetish and full; demarara, iron, milk chocolate sprinkles. Decent, sugared-up sweet dark lager...but I wasn’t as keen when I re-sampled it later in the week.

Pensavo che l’Hell Hunt, locale dove l’ho bevuta, fosse un brewpub; che delusione. In ogni caso, una dunkel un po’ salmastra e servita non troppo fredda, non è che fosse il massimo
