JoeinUccle (667), Brussels, Belgium Jul 27, 2008 Bottle at L’Atelier in Brussels. Pale blonde with thin white head. Zesty nose with sharp lemon and passion fruit notes... interesting. Flavor is very lightly sweet, mildly bitter, with slightly tart tang and lively carbonation. Very refreshing, great summer beer. BoBoChamp (646), Gent, Belgium Jul 27, 2008 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, easy to drink, balanced, cloudy, rocky head, simpel brew Dedollewaitor (2041), Odense, Denmark Jul 11, 2008 Bottle @ Plan-B, Copenhagen. BB 06/06. Pours hazy golden with nearly no head or lacings. Aroma is vinous, white wine, fruity & slightly dusty. Mouldy, cellar & citric taste. Def. over the top! Glouglouburp (1941), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 13, 2008 In short: A light fruity and tart Belgian ale marred by some chemical/plastic flavours
How: Bottle, 330ml, about 3 months old or so.
The look: Cloudy yellow body with a medium white head
In long: Banana bread with pineapples and a little lemon. A light but bothersome plastic flavour. A not so pleasant chemical-like acidity. Some spicy flavours (ginger and such). A bit dry. This beer has a few things going for it but it’s got some serious problems too, at least the bottle I drank did. Hellishcrappy Artisanal Belgian Blond. shrubber85 (2495), Wallhalben, Rheinland-Pfalz, Germany Apr 6, 2008 Bottle. Spiced orange aroma - like Gluehwein/mulled wine. Hazy golden amber color with giant white head. Sweet-sour musty lemon malt flavor - moderate acidity. Saison-like - very nice.
