JoeinUccle (651), Brussels, Belgium Jul 27, 2008 Bottle at L’Atelier in Brussels. Bright amber with thin gray head. Sweetish and slightly tart cidery nose. Flavor starts a little tart then goes sweet. Too sweet. And a touch alcoholic. Bit of oxidation, possibly an old bottle. Will re-rate if possible. BoBoChamp (588), Gent, Belgium Jul 27, 2008 33cl, from De Hopduvel Gent, complex, yet easy to drink, cloudy, good head, nice brew Sammy (2986), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Jul 22, 2008 Thanks probtsk. A pale that is yeasty, good german bitter, light, satisfying and drinkable. It starts with a bit skunky aroma that turns neutral. Its been in there since 2006! Lace and sediment and mouth tingling - in the last ounce of sediment. A good one. Dedollewaitor (1885), Odense, Denmark Jul 11, 2008 33cl bottle @ Plan-B, Copenhagen. BB 06/06. Pours hazy gold with a creamy off white head. Fruity, mouldy, dusty, malty, sweet, caramel. Ok body! bhensonb (2769), Woodland, California, USA May 28, 2008 Bottle. Dark amber color with a frothy off-white head. Nice darkish fruit aroma with underlying ripe light stone fruit. Near medium body with mild carbonation. Flavor is mixed light and dark fruit. Starts sweetish, but floral hop saves the day. Put me off a bit at first, but it redeemed with time. Mild spicey notes in the finish. Satisfying.
