33cl bottle. APPEARANCE: Yellow golden beer, small rather stable white head. NOSE: hay, human sweat, some rotting fruits, spices. TASTE: very sweet taste! very concentrated (syrup) and rather unidimensional. Some alcohol and yeast noticeable. Not really fond of this one...

Bottle from Asao. Light brown-orange color with a high, fine head. Malty nose, estery, stewed fruit: peaches, apples, melons, grape. Also honey and spice. Again cooked fruit flavor, more apple, but also some estery stuff, honey, bread or cake. Rather sweet, though somehow juicy in a refreshing way. Spicy, peppery finish with a touch of earthy hop. OK, but too one-dimensional.

Brown bottle, 330 ml, label only on the front side. ABV 7%. Poured into a tulip glass, at home. Deep copper colour, with a white two finger head. Average retention, no lacing left behind while it turned to a thin film on the beer’s surface. Some light activity in the glass. Lots of alcohol and yeast on the aroma, wheat, a bit fruity too. Nice pleasant taste, a bit weird at first but it get used quickly. Grapes, yeast, again the alcohol quite noticeable. Medium on the body, quite carbonated. Very dry on the palate. Nice beer, but for some reason easily forgetable.

33cl bottle courtesy of Julien, split with 77ships during our raid the Delirium Cave extravaganza. BB 11/2013.

Thx. to Julien & Sebletitje. 33 cl. bottle split by 2 @ Delirium Cave. 2011 Vintage. Pours a pretty much clear amber with a solid white head. Smell has some fermented honey in it indeed, sweet sugary side with plenty of esters, spices, tad herbal with some Belgian yeast and mainly apricot fruitier side. Taste is bitter generic Belgian floral, grass with a tad caramel, fermented honey, some candy sugar, bitter esters, Belgian yeast, spices with a rounded of metallic quality. Medium bodied with sharp carbonation. Passable stuff.

33cl bottle. Cloudy, light amber color with small head. Nose : Tart, cherry, banana, raspberry, gingerbread. Sip : Low to medium density body with creamy texture. Low carbonation. Sweet tart flavor with spices of ginger and cinnamon. Quite fruity. Aftertaste is still sweet and fruity. Overall it’s far from being my kind of beer.
