Bottle ( Swing top ) Golden with a small head. Sweet but not overpoweringly so. A good example of a truly lovely style.

Bottle. Pale golden straw. Clear with a white head. Notes of hay and citrus. A dry hoppy lager. Flavour is a little thin. Does a job.

Bottle at the Post Office Vaults, Birmingham. Poured nicely, with a white fluffy head. Not much aroma and quite frankly not much flavour. Rainwater, flat malts. A very disappointing Kolsch, lacking freshness and at £6.10 a bottle, quite frankly this is one of the biggest let-downs of all time.

Bottle. Golden with a small head. Aromas are biscuit and damp cardboard with caramel and hints of metal. Cereal with hints of lemon. Flavours are cereal with biscuit and light caramel. Dusty yeast with thin lemon and hints of lime. Peanuts with a dry, spicy finish. OK.

Swing-top by 07/12. Sweet and dusty light malt nose, slight grass. Rich golden body with medium carb and a soapy white head. Sweet floral character is dominant, with slightly metallic continuation, very sharp. Light but not watery body. Miniscule bitterness and there’s nice bread tone here, but the sweet/oily malt is a bit much to handle.

Big disappointment for my 2nd Kolsch after trying Thornbridge Tzara. Bit pissy.

Swing top bottle from Kölschtrinker. Pale golden color. Soft grassy chloride aroma and flavor. A moderate but persistant hopbitterness. Maybe a bit thin.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Kommt mir etwas dunkel vor für ein Kölsch. Die Blume ist mittelporig und zerfällt recht schnell. Der Antrunk is recht angenehm. Hoher CO2 Gehalt.

Hier weniger intensiv, wenig Getreide, semig. In Ordnung. /9/10/8/9/9
