Wenig wässriger Antrunk mit malzigen Beinoten, etwas seifig. Dabei aber süffig, kaum herb, trockener Abgang. Hier weniger intensiv, wenig Getreide, semig. In Ordnung. /9/10/8/9/9

Flasche zwei Monate über dem MHD. Geruch etwas fruchtig-hopfig. Der Antrunk steuert zunächst in herbe Richtung, um dann im Mittelteil malziger zu werden. Zum Abgang steigert sich nochmal die Malzigkeit, unterlegt mit einer kräftigen Herbe. Nicht schlecht, für ein Kölsch ist es mir aber zu schwer geraten. Test vom 31.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

50cl bottle from Bierzwerg. BBE 12/2011. Poured golden color with a white head. Hay and malty aroma. Flavor is malty, slightly fruity with a grainy finish.

500ml Bottle. Appearance is straw yellow with light, fizzy head. Aroma is metallic and cardboard with some hints of fruit and wheat. Taste is very bright and acidic with general fruit and wheat flavors. Very hard water seems to be a major component to this brew giving it a slightly metallic flavor. Because of this the mouthfeel is also very heavy even though the beer is light-bodied. Acidic and fizzy carbonation also give the palate an unpleasant feel. Combined with a relatively dry finish, the beer has some distracting characteristics and doesn’t really fit the bill of a quality Kölsch.

Blond color, just a shade darker. It’s a mild beer, with no noticeable characteristics; the very light fruity sweetness is maybe the only sign of the top fermentation; ordinary bitterness. Easy, but not totally bad.

Cloudy golden colour with tiny white head. Sweetish aroma with some caramel, fruitiness and malt. Flavour is very mild bitterness, caramel sweetness, sugary fruitiness and malt. Easy and drinkable Kölsch.

bottle from Bierzwerg. Pale yellow, large white head. Hoppy nose. Shy malty base, hints of cardboardy hops. Very light, a bit thin.

Bottle. Golden colour with no head. Aroma of dry hops and some citrus. Bitter notes in the taste with a dried grass feel. Finish is quite dry. Lacks some zing

Fliptop, via trade with koelschtrinker, clear golden yellow pour with foamer head, aroma is dry wheat, flavor is very nice light fruit cocktail and lemony, finish is mildly sweet

0.5 l bottle, thanks Timo A! Golden color. Sweet mellow malt aroma. Sweetish, malty and honeyish flavor with mild bitterness and hint of herbal hops. Good mellow maltiness.
