3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Fresh malt aroma, hops are fine too, yellow, pours a small white head. Flavour is a hops/malt marriage, like homemade bread. Sweet, tasty, too easy to drink, wish there was more. Very good. Thanks Radek Kliber.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pale blonde, clear, fair white head. Unassuming hay-like malts through and through. More hoppy in the nose than in mouth where a fair bit of sweetness remains and fails at being completely cut by the pointy, spritzy carbonation that feels a bit too much and reduces drinkability.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Slightly hazy orange-brown body with a small white bubbly ring of head. Doughy sweetness in the aroma along with some fruitiness. Decent bitterness profile with some caramely malts. Pretty good.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Swing-top bottle 500ml
Golden beer with light haze, porous, bubbly white head.
Fruity aroma, clean nose with good hint of citric hops.
Medium bodied, nice soft textures. Beer that’s sits pleasant on your lips. Gentle bitters floating around with near soft citric accents. Unusual for Kolsch yet neatly done. One more please!

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Huge, very white & dense head; very pale amber-gold beer. Bit creamy, quite "inoffensive" nose; slightly spicey, garden herbs and hay. Rather sweet, with soft-sourish (CO˛) and herbal lining. Background is pure malts, both pale and light-coloured. Again hayish flavour, retronasal even a bit smoked. Quite carbonated, light MF. Unobtrusive Kölsch, sweetish; has to be compared to their Wiess, the unfiltered version. Thanks, Seb.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
On tap at the brewpub (during the "Off the beaten track Kölsch Tour") Pale golden coloured, thin lasting foamy layer; sweetish, kinda perfumed, fruity nose; fizzy sourish and bitter flavour; mild and fruity finish with a distinctive bitterness. Not so harmonic.............

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(tap at the Hellers Brauhaus, Köln) Clear and pale golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweetish malty nose with a perfumed hoppy note. Harsh carbonated, light bodied mouthfeel. Initial sweet malty taste, traces of fruitiness, not very round dry, fizzy and slightly skunky finish. There are better beers of this style to get in Cologne.
