Sehr leckeres Kölsch mit einem zitronigen Einschlag sowohl im Aroma als auch im Geschmack. Der Nachgeschmack ist etwas pappig, aber ansonsten rundum gelungen.

Bottle ( Swing top ) Golden with a small head. Sweet but not overpoweringly so. A good example of a truly lovely style.

Pours out of the bottle in a clear golden colour with low steady head and medium body. Aroma of flowers and hops. Taste of mild hops, peaches, mild apples, grains and roses. Flowery finish. Very nice to drink, really enjoyed it. Quaffable and refreshing, still tasty.

Ein fein balanciertes Kölsch mit angenehmen Getreide und etwas Butter. Dazu leicht in der Vanille zum Schluss. Echt gut, aber durchaus speziell.

Swing-top bottle 500ml
Golden beer with light haze, porous, bubbly white head.
Fruity aroma, clean nose with good hint of citric hops.
Medium bodied, nice soft textures. Beer that’s sits pleasant on your lips. Gentle bitters floating around with near soft citric accents. Unusual for Kolsch yet neatly done. One more please!

Draught at the brewpub. Clear pale golden, small head. salty and fruity with some grassy hops. Soft and fairly light bodied. Mild and quaffable, but lacks the depth of the best kölsches.

Reasonably generic Kolsch, not the best imaginable, but certainly not the worst. Pours quite golden, a slight haze. Wheaty, sweet aroma. Quite a dry afterrtaste.

Bottle. Slightly hazy orange-brown body with a small white bubbly ring of head. Doughy sweetness in the aroma along with some fruitiness. Decent bitterness profile with some caramely malts. Pretty good.

Embrouille (2830) - SWITZERLAND - FEB 12, 2010
Bottled 50cl. Deep golden with a decent white head. Quite a lot of hemp showing up in both nose and taste. Very pleasant tasty, biscuity Kölsch where hemp notes are really quite prominent throughout indeed. Plenty of character. Deeply pleasurable.

Fliptop, via trade with koelschtrinker, clear golden yellow pour with foamer head, aroma is dry wheat, flavor is very nice light fruit cocktail and lemony, finish is mildly sweet
