Very lightly hazed pale blonde with a moderate white head that retains well.
Nose is pale malts, grass, light citrus notes, grain.
Taste comprises pale malts, lemon rind, grass, faint orange.
Medium bodied with moderate carboantion lending towards a crisp, clean finish with some bitterness.
Ok pils.

Pours golden colour. Malty aroma with hint of flowery hops. Hoppy finish.

Bottle from Kölschtrinker, thanks! Pale golden color. Malt, grass and chloride in both aroma and flavor. Satisfyingly hopped.

Bügelverschlußflasche (Dank an Roman!): Clear, golden, relatively quickly collapsing loose white head; buttery - with pale malt - and hoppy nose; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied and soft; lingering hoppy and malty finish. What a fine Pils........

(swing top bottle) Clear, golden colour with a loose medium-sized frothy white head. Slightly bready and oxidised malty aroma with a tinge of biscuits and grassy hops. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Slightly buttery malty taste with a present hoppy bite towards the bitter-sweet finish. Likeable brew, reminds me of a Bohemian Pilsener. 14.IX.11

Leicht trübes Pils mit verhaltener Schaumbildung. Citrusanklänge beim durchaus kräftigem Hopfenaroma. Im Antrunk würzig, kräftig und ganz leicht hefig bevor es in einen langen, herben Abgang übergeht. Zwar kein klassisches Bier Pilsener Brauart, aber durchaus gelungen. Pils aus Köln, Sachen gibts!

Geruch hefig-säuerlich. Nur entfernt ist eine pilsige Note wahrnehmbar. Durchaus herb im Start, verschwindet dies rasch und das Hefige, Säuerliche kommt zum Tragen. Jedoch durchaus angenehm. Im Abgang mild herb. Ein etwas sonderbares und untypisches Pils. Trinkbar auf jeden Fall. Test vom 29.8.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Aroma grassy, grainy with hints of diacetyl.
Appearance darker gold with medium top. White head , proper lace shown. 3+
Flavor and Palate : medium bodied with softer following. Plenty of diacetyl paired with leafy hop. My first butter bomb in Cologne!

Bottled@One Pint Pub, Helsinki. Slightly hazy golden colour with a mediumsized white head. Aroma is grassy, mild butterscotch, some maltyness as well as some mild hayish notes. Flavour is earth, malts, some grass and mild diacetylic notes.

Würzig herber Antrunk mit leichter Süße, die sich im weiteren Verlauf deutlich zurückzieht und so zunehmend unwichtig erscheint. Auch die Würzigkeit wird geringer, wenn auch nur geringfügig. Die Bitterkeit bleibt konstant, wirkt aber zum Ende stärker, da die anderen Aromen nachlassen. Weiterhin würzig, im hinteren Mittelteil kommt eine seichte Karamellnote empor. Passend herber Abgang, in dem die Karamelnote ebenfalls wirkt. 8/9/10/10/9/9
