0.5L swing-top bottle. Pours clear yellow with very small head. Grassy aroma. Sour, but not in the good weizen way. A poor effort.

Unclear hazy medium yellow orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, banana. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average to long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20081009][ Good BEER Guide Germany Köln #8 ]

Draught, 5% at the brewpub. Candylike banana aroma, like the hard and sweet banana chips one can buy. Cloudy orange colour. Good stable white head. The flavour is sweet and candylike, banana chips again.

Bottle (trade with Koelschtrinker). Sweet banana/orange and wheat malt aroma - light hint of clove. Cloudy yellow-tan color with small head. Sour wheat malt, banana, and clove flavor. A very nice drinkable Hefe.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Aroma like champagne. Tastes good, but too less fruity. Nevertheless very drinkable. An average hefeweizen.

Rather small white head covers the cloudy golden hue. Boasting wheat nose comes upfront accompanied by a very noticeable sour cream note. This stays in mouth, it might be more lactic than citric and the yeast imparts a certain spiciness that conclude it all. Lean bodied, more than I expected for the rather full wheat nose. And the balance is not too advanced with this tendency for the overdone sourness.

(swing top bottle, with thanks to Koelschtrinker) Cloudy, yellow colour with a short frothy white head. Yeasty, moderately sweet and slightly acidic wheat-malty aroma with notes of banana and citrus, accompanied by vanilla phenols and light notes of cloves. Light-sweet flavour, light body impression with a refreshing carbonation. Moderate wheat-character with fruity notes and restrained phenols, what I appreciate; slightly sweet and sour, slim wheaty finish. Decent Hefeweizen “vun Kölle”.

Bottle. Yellowish-orange murky body with a small white bubbly head. The aroma is creamy and fruity - banana and oranges, though not much spice. Flavourwise there is a lot more stuff going on...sharp peppery spices, mild tartness, and doughy yeast. Average, but pleasantly refreshing.
