Bottle. Pours a clear gold body under a one finger fizzy white head that faded to a thin film. The head formation is not quite as good as Duvel, which I assume they are attempting to copy here. The nose is heavy and sweet pale malt with a touch of fruitiness and a bit of alcohol. The flavor doesn’t quite live up to Duvel either. There’s a bit of a white grape juice note in here that distracts from the thick pale malt. Finishes with a bit of fruitiness and moderate alcohol heat. Medium bodied and heavy on the tongue with fizzy carbonation. It’s not bad, but I think I’d just rather have a Duvel if I were looking for a beer like this.

Bottle from whole foods. Pours clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma is a bit floral, light banana, some yeast. The taste is light smoke, a bit of a dry flavor.. Very drinkable but unexpected.

DocJitsu (1715) - Pensacola, Florida, USA - AUG 20, 2013
Pours a moderately hazy straw golden color with a seltzer-like thin white head. Numerous carbonation bubbles rise from the bottom to the surface. Mild aromas of Belgian yeast, honey, and bread in the bouquet. Perhaps a hint of chardonnay. Moderately lively mouthfeel. Mild well-blended flavors that mimic the nose. A bit of a chalky flavor at the finish. Drinks like a seltzer.

750 cc from Capone’s. Pours heavily effervescent dark straw with minimal off-white head. Nose is mild funky yeasty malt, hopcitrus, fruit. Tastes hopcitric, yeasty, funky, with some floral notes in the finish. A minor letdown.

Bottle from Bri/Court, pours clearish golden with light head, aromas and taste are rust, belgian spice, pepper, light hops, and pear fruit. Just ok.

750 ml thanks to Dan. Helltown is making some awesome stuff as far as I can tell! Pours a clear, fizzy golden color with a large thick white head. A light nose of sweet honey and fruit. A super clean flavor with oranges, lemon, some pepper, dust, finishes with big pepper. Very good and quaffable.

This poured a murky golden colorw ith a white head. Aroma was some spicey belgina notes, mild citrusy hops, and some yeast. Flavor was spicey, some vanilla, and fruitiness too. Pretty nice for the style and hid the alcohol pretty well.

Clear golden, white cover. The aroma is white sugar, pear, high esters. Taste is the same, I feel like it is missing something that would make it great, but as it is its solid and doesn’t let on the ABV at all.

FROTHINGSLOSH (6842) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 23, 2011
Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a slightly hazy yellow-golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was crisp table sugar and golden fruits. The flavor was dryish and bready with moderate notes of golden fruits and table sugar. Medium length dry and bready finish. Fairly full bodied. The alcohol was well hidden. Ok.
