I had this on top at this year’s Steel City Big Pour festival in Pittsburgh. This beer has a fantastic caramel, amber color with a nice thick head. The nose is sweet and sticky, with a very strong, punchy West Coast hop aroma. Flavors of honey, pineapple, and mango with a well-integrated caramely malt backbone help balance out this extremely well crafted double IPA - awesome

FH IPA Fest 2012, Wow. was amazed at this one, only downfall is the slightly astringent bitterness, but this is one easy drinking double IPA, really good..smell is bright and hoppy, well carbonated and drinks great.

On draft at Sharp Edge Brasserie. Poured hazy orange. Nose of juicy orange and tangerine. Flavor also of fresh cut citrus with subtle piney notes. A winning hop profile. Dangerously drinkable.

This poured a very hazy darker yellow to orange color with a small white head. Aroma was lots and lots of fruit and pine and not much else. pretty inviting. Flavor was much the same, medium to strong bitterness, with tons of fruity and piney hop flavor to back it up. Great DIPA.

Had this at the bcktown monaca, a really nice place, especially in the afternoon. Cloudy hazy bubbly looking thing that is the color of vanilla yellah. Very attractive fer sure. Initially the buds tell me it is fruity and hoppy and the olfactory is perfumy aroma, very overwhelming. Hoppy bitter experince is awaiting the taster let me tell you, wew. Lubricating oily palate. This brew is evolving; nice fruity flavor then big green hoppy chewing on grapefruit rinds: enjoy! Impressive example of the style, rrrrrrrrr. Like IPA? Ignore these numbers.

On cask. Light hazy yellow with an off white cover. Aroma is earthy, citrusy, lightly tropical fruity hops above the light toast. Taste is the same hop profile, good toasty malt, it is a very solid beer. The hop profile just isn’t quite built to my liking, it comes off just a touch too dirty/earthy for my tastes but is a very nice DIPA.

An nice IIPA from a local brewer. On tap at Bocktown Robinson. Aroma was nice and hoppy. Dank, resinous hops with grapefruit and lemon with a little grass. Pour was a nice medium gold with a 2 finger off white head. Taste was very subdued for the style. It was all hops; the citrus, pine and sweet malt are all full but not overbearing. Hides alcohol perfectly. Nice carbonation. Mouth is left bitter and dry. The sweet malt backbone keeps the beer balanced. Nice
