COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This traditional southern English style brown ale, combines European malts with American hops. The result is a rich, malty, full-bodied ale, with a subtle hint of fruitiness on the nose and palate.

Draught @ Tapped: This one pours an opaque dark brown color. There was about a finger of a tan head.Nice nose. Mainly malty and nutty. The taste is good. Malts, faint chocolate nuttiness. Nice.

Biggest issue is really the thin body but actually has a nice blend of malt flavors and mellow hops. Would drink anytime.

Sample at the brewery. Pours a deep dark brown with a medium sized tan head. Nice aroma of roasted nuts and malts. Nice body, not too thin nor too thick. Drinks smooth with lots of malt and nut flavor. Not harsh or bitter. Something you can sit back and relax and enjoy. I’ve had many Brown ales that were just too watery or over roasted and tasted burnt. This was right in the middle where it needs to be. Full of flavor and enjoyable. Took a growler to take home and enjoy it again.

sample at brewery, pours dark brown/black with small to medium head. Balanced with just the right amount of roast. Chocolate, malt, and clean grain. Very nice brown ale from Helltown that’s underrated.

On draft at Aqueous Nemacolin. Poured brown with skim of khaki head. Bit nutty, malty. Meh, disappointing.

Draft at Hunger and Thirst. Cloudy brown color, small head. Aroma of lightly nutty toast. Taste is similar.

The hint of fruit is at the beginning of this beer. The malt kicks in heavy after that, leaving a bitter almost coffee taste that though strong does not linger on your pallet. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Thought this was a very mediocre beer that didn’t have too many interesting notes.

Draft at Grille 31 in Mt Pleasant. Brown with ruby mahogany tones. Aroma of roasted malt, cookie, biscuit, caramel. Light to med light sweetness. Softer carbonation. Taste is similar to aroma. Not too shabby. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Nice ànd dark, delicious beverage. Decen’t head with a dark tan color. Full-bodied but nice smooth, light, and everything nice.
